Welcome to Careers’ at Hendon School. On this page there is key information for students, parents and carers, staff and other key stakeholders to understand the aims, vision, delivery approaches and impact of our careers programme.

At Hendon School, we believe that high-quality careers education is an essential part of preparing our students for life beyond the classroom. Our careers programme is designed to inspire, inform, and equip students with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need to make informed choices about their futures.

Through a wide range of opportunities – including encounters with employers, experiences of the workplace and links with further and higher education – we aim to ensure that every student is supported to achieve their full potential.

Whether students are considering university, apprenticeships, training, or entering the world of work, our careers programme is here to support them every step of the way.

We are always keen to develop contacts to enhance our careers programme. We would like to hear from parents and carers, Old Hendonians, employers, Higher Education or Further Education Colleges or other career relevant groups if would like to support us.

In order to ensure that our curriculum supports and meets the needs of our students and Parents and Carers, we also request feedback from our key stakeholders throughout the year.

We review our published careers information on a frequent basis and use the Compass Careers Benchmark Tool to assess the impact of our careers programme.
