Assessment Details
The BTEC Level 2 in Esports is assessed through internally assessed coursework assignments rather than final examinations. Students complete a range of practical and written assignments designed to develop industry-relevant knowledge and skills. Assessment focuses on applying learning to realistic esports scenarios and projects.
Course Outline
This course provides students with an introduction to the rapidly growing esports industry. Learners will develop knowledge and understanding of esports games, teams and tournaments, while also exploring areas such as event management, streaming, content creation, enterprise and the operation of esports organisations. The qualification is designed to develop both technical and transferable skills, preparing students for progression into further education or employment.
