“Are we human beings having a spiritual experience, or spiritual beings having a human experience?” Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
Religious Education at Hendon School aims to teach students about diverse lifestyles and world views. We encourage students to develop their own views; to speak and write articulately about their own backgrounds and experiences. Our department adopts a multi-faith, non-denominational approach to RE in which students learn about the major World faiths, including Christianity and Islam (which are studied in more depth in the GCSE course.)
Key Stage 3 content
