Summary:
Our Cambridge Technicals in IT course provides students with essential knowledge and skills in IT. During the course students would have opportunities for practical and project-based learning helping them to gain an insight into the technological changes taking place around the world.
Units of study include:
Unit 8: Emerging technologies
In this unit you will understand the types of features and potential uses of emerging technologies. You will be asked to consider how emerging technologies can be used to support businesses and explain the benefits and drawbacks of these technologies. You will understand the social, commercial and legal implications when using emerging technologies and be able to identify future impacts from the application of these new technologies.
Unit 13: Creating websites
In this unit learners will be provided with the knowledge and skills required to review and update websites as well as creating their own. Learners will be identifying how to meet a business need to offer and promote the business. This is a project-based unit, and the learners will eventually create a website for the identified client
