About Hendon School

Hendon School is an ambitious 'Good' School and can offer:

  • Excellent resources

  • Excellent support and professional development opportunities

  • Hendon School has recently been identified as one of the top 100 non- selective state funded schools in the country. Students not only achieve outstanding exam results but experience an exceptional community programme.

Many students have won local and national awards for their achievements and contributions to society.

Hendon School is a family – albeit a very large and diverse family – and we celebrate that. We are stronger because of our differences and because of the way that we work together.

At Hendon School we work in partnership with parents, the local community and other schools, both in England and with our partner schools in South Africa, Japan and Nepal. We are part of the Compton Teaching Alliance with whom we work to provide high quality training opportunities for new teachers and established staff and are members of PiXL and SSAT Leading Edge.

Recently we were honoured to be invited to join the Mayors Gold Club, which allows us to share good practice with other London schools. We work closely with our local feeder primary schools, both as part of our high involvement transition programme and also to enrich and inspire younger students.

We are passionate about education and about working with our young people to give them the best opportunities and to help them to be ready for the next stage of their life. We take good care of them and work with them to unlock their potential.
