Skill Builder:
As well as academic achievement, it is important for students to develop a range of employability skills. At Hendon School we are implementing the Skills Builder national framework in curricular and non-curricular activities. The opportunities help students develop the essential skills they need for success in education, employment, and life. These include teamwork, problem solving, creativity, listening, speaking, leadership, adaptability, and planning. Skills Builder helps students become confident, employable, and future-ready.
Employers consistently say that alongside qualifications, these skills are what make young people stand out in applications and thrive in the workplace.
