Unifrog and Skills Builder

Unifrog:

Unifrog is an online careers and destinations platform that helps students explore all their post-16 and post-18 options in one place. It brings together information on universities, apprenticeships, colleges, vocational courses, and careers, making it much easier for young people to research and compare pathways. There are also a number of quizzes that students can take to identify their skills and receive recommendations of careers that they might be suited too.   

All students have access through their school email account. Students can research over 1,500 different careers. They can use Unifrog to build CVs, record skills and achievements, and prepare applications for college, university, apprenticeships, or employment. There are also opportunities advertised on the site for students.

For parents, Unifrog provides a range of information that can help you support your child’s choices, ensuring decisions are well-informed, realistic, and aligned with future goals. Parental login details are shared at parents/information evenings

Skills Builder:

As well as academic achievement, it is important for students to develop a range of employability skills. At Hendon School we are implementing the Skills Builder national framework in curricular and non-curricular activities. The opportunities help students develop the essential skills they need for success in education, employment, and life. These include teamwork, problem solving, creativity, listening, speaking, leadership, adaptability, and planning. Skills Builder helps students become confident, employable, and future-ready.
