It is expected that all students arrive to school by 8:35 so that they arrive punctually to their period 1 lesson, or to the Sixth Form Centre for independent study. Students on year 12 courses must remain in school until the end of the school day at 15:10, although they may leave the school grounds during lunch time.
Year 13 students are allowed to finish school at the end of period 4 or lunch if that is the last lesson of the day. Year 12 students are not allowed to leave school, regardless of when their timetabled lessons for the day are completed. It is expected that where a student does not have a timetabled lesson, that they use any of the 3 quiet study rooms in the 6th form centre, the dedicated 6th form room in the library or the canteen.
Students are expected to attend mentoring sessions straight after the end of period 2. Pastoral materials will be delivered during this time to support you and help you become more organised in order to ensure that you are prepared and make good progress in lessons.
